Intercity Food & Resource Center

Intercity Food & Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to transparency and donor trust. We understand that errors can occur in donation amounts or processing. This Donation Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which we may issue a refund. 

1. Refund Eligibility 

We will consider a refund request under the following circumstances: 

● The donation was made in error (e.g., incorrect amount or duplicate transaction). ● The donor’s account was charged fraudulently. 

● A technical issue occurred during the donation process. 

2. Refund Request Process 

To request a refund, please email us at info@intercityfrc.org  within 7 days of the transaction. Include: 

● Full name 

● Donation amount 

● Date of donation 

● Payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.) 

● Reason for the refund request 

We may contact you for additional information to verify and process your request. 3. Processing Refunds 

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. 

4. Non-Refundable Donations

We are unable to refund donations that: 

● Were made more than 7 days prior to the request 

● Have already been used for program delivery or operations 

● Were made anonymously without identifiable donor information 

5. Recurring Donations 

If you are enrolled in a recurring donation plan and wish to cancel or modify it, please contact us at  info@intercityfrc.org or manage your preferences directly through the platform (e.g., Donorbox). Cancellation requests must be received at least 3 business days before the next scheduled donation. 

6. Tax Implications 

If a donation is refunded, the corresponding tax-deductible receipt will become invalid. It is your responsibility to adjust any tax filings accordingly.
